Teaching Practice Weekly Report – Week 5 (27th August - 30th August 2024)

Monday, 27th August 2024
I arrived at school at 9:30 AM and started my scheduled lesson for Class 8D on the Political Executive and Permanent Executive. The session focused on explaining their roles and differences in the government system, and I encouraged student participation through discussion and examples. In the fourth period, I had a substitution class with 5A, where I organized educational games to keep the students engaged and active.

Tuesday, 29th August 2024
In Class 8D, I taught about the Functions of the President. The lesson covered the President's duties and responsibilities, and I used visual aids and charts to make the topic more accessible. This session allowed students to gain a deeper understanding of the role of the President within our government structure.

Wednesday, 30th August 2024
I arrived at school at 9:30 AM and conducted a class for 8D on the Functions of the Vice President. I then had another substitution period with 8D, during which I covered the Functions of the Prime Minister. This double session provided a comprehensive overview of the key leaders of the government, and I used various teaching materials to engage students and ensure clarity.

Final Reflections
Today was my last day at school due to the upcoming Onam exam. Before leaving, I collected feedback from the students, which was an emotional moment as many of them expressed their appreciation, with some even shedding tears. Their reactions were heartwarming and made me reflect on the impact of the time I spent teaching them. This week marked a significant chapter in my teaching journey, and it was a heartfelt way to conclude this phase of my practice.                      
This concludes my Week 5 reflection, highlighting the blend of teaching, interactive activities, and meaningful connections made during this period.
