Weekly Report: Teaching Practice Phase 2 – Week 5

This week focused on economic planning and environmental topics, providing students with valuable insights into India's economic strategies and ecological concerns.


Day-wise Summary

13.01.2025 (Monday)

I reached school by 9:20 AM, marked my attendance, and prepared for the day's lesson.
During my 1st-period class with 8D, I taught Milestones in Economic Planning, explaining the key economic policies and their impact on national development.

15.01.2025 (Wednesday)

The day began with a morning assembly.
During my 3rd-period class with 8D, I introduced the topic of Five-Year Plans, discussing their objectives, achievements, and challenges in shaping India's economy.

16.01.2025 (Thursday)

I arrived at school by 9:20 AM and conducted my scheduled class with 8D, where I taught about NITI Aayog.
Students engaged in discussions about its role in policy-making and how it differs from the former Planning Commission.

17.01.2025 (Friday)

I reached school by 9:15 AM, attended the morning assembly, and prepared for my lesson.
During my 6th-period class with 8D, I taught Wetlands, emphasizing their ecological importance, conservation efforts, and role in biodiversity.




Reflection on the Week

This week successfully combined economic and environmental topics, offering students a diverse learning experience. The lessons on economic planning helped students understand policy-making, while the session on wetlands highlighted the need for environmental conservation.

I continued to incorporate interactive learning strategies, ensuring active participation from students. I look forward to experimenting with more engaging teaching methods in the coming weeks.
